The evaluation is done as follows
Slopes/runs Alagna Valsesia/Gressoney-La-Trinité/Champoluc/Frachey (Monterosa Ski)
The slopes score points with a variety of landscapes, mostly generous widths and varied profiles. Due to the differing exposures of the slopes, you can find sunny slopes throughout the day. The excellent securing of the slopes is noticeable. The unsecured terrain offering is first class and optimal for freeriders. Difficult slopes are limited and there are no secured ski routes. Good skiers without the equipment and experience for skiing in open terrain are therefore at a disadvantage.

The Wold lifts in Alagna are about one kilometer away from the rest of the ski resort.
Worth knowing
- Artificial snow-making
655 Snow cannons
95 % of the slopes have snow-making capabilities - Valley run available
There are valley runs to all feeder lifts with the exception of the funicular from Frachey. There is also a valley run to Orsia in Val de Gressoney. The chairlift that leads up to the ski resort from here was closed in 2008. At the end of the valley run from Gabiet to Stafal, you must walk about 300 m to the lift.
Run location
- above tree line
- just above tree line
- under tree line
Longest run
- Olen-Alagna · Length 8 km · Elevation difference 1768 m
The slope is marked as black in the upper section, but it is perfectly groomed and therefore no real problem for anyone who can achieve a parallel curve. A run from Indren (3260 m) to Alagna is not possible and the route from Indren to Stafal is not secured.
Most difficult run
- Nera · Length 0.5 km · Elevation difference 200 m
For this short black section, it will cost you a lot of time on lifts (cable car lift from Stafal to St. Anna and a chairlift to the Bettaforca Pass). For this reason, you will often have the Nera slope to yourself.
