At the new 8-seater chair lift Sender Express, next to the family slope nr. 7, a new "WITCH FUNLINE" was created, about 1 km long, and leading through the woods. Witches, 3,5 m high, are waiting for you along wave-runs, small jumps, gate-flags, on trees and in steep curves, pormising surprises and lots of fun!2019/2020

3-day tickets and more: Kids up to 15 years ski for FREE!During the saving weeks of Dec 16 - 22, 2017 and March 10 - April 7, 2018, all own children up to 15 years receive a FREE multiple day ski ticket from 3 days on, if accompanied by one parent! Proof of identity of all family members and common residence necessary.
New: Almenwelt with 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena
As of now Almenwelt Lofer is part of the new ticket association "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena", together with the ski areas Waidring/ Steinplatte, St. Johann i.Tirol, Pillersee/Buchensteinwand, Unken/Heutal, Kirchdorf, Erpfendorf and Reit im Winkl. You can now choose between Almenwelt Lofer and the ski areas of "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" for more variety.2014/2015
New large water reservoir and new restaurant "Kechtalm" on Schwarzeck
Almenwelt Lofer has built one of the largest water reservoir in Salzburg with a capacity of 135.000 m³, located near the mountain station of the 4-seater Schönbühel chairlift. This means 3 times as much water available for artificial snowmaking!New restaurant "Kechtalm" on Schwarzeck: A cozy and characteristic place with room for about 200 guests!

After a successful first winter season with the new Almbahn I lift, the ski resort expanded to include the most modern chairlift available on the market. In summer 2012, a new 8-seater chairlift was built to transport guests up to the sunny “Schwarzeck" plateau and operation began in winter 2012/13.New children's area!
The three training lifts in the new children's area have been replaced by a modern 140 m long covered people mover, offering optimal comfort in all weather conditions.This enhancement as well as the expansion measures including the new child safety chairlift and additional slopes are perfect additions to this family ski resort and are examples of their focus on comfort, quality and customer satisfaction.

Direct access from the village centre to the ski resort with the new Almbahn I / 8-person cable car
The old 4-person cable car Almbahn I lift has been replaced by a modern, comfortable 8-person cable car! The entire infrastructure of the base station has been renovated. A barrier free access and a modern atmosphere are waiting for you.2010/2011

Just above the base station of the lift I, there is a new, larger parking lot with 300 parking spaces (P3) and direct access to the valley run. Located directly alongside the ski run.2009/2010
