Slope grooming/preparation Alpe d'Huez

Test result

4 out of 5 stars

The evaluation is done as follows

Slope preparation Alpe d'Huez

The slope preparation is very good.

Even when the snow is hard, the runs are groomed to be comfortably smooth and mogul free. Slopes that are skied frequently are carefully prepared and passage is always possible. Dangerous spots are blocked off. When new snow falls, it can happen that not all slopes are immediately groomed. However, signs at the lift stations reliably indicate the unprepared slopes. If you pay attention to these signs you will not unintentionally end up in deep snow.

General note: By new snow, an optimal slope preparation is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
