The South Tyrolean ski resort of Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) is located at the western entrance to the Dolomites, north-east of Bolzano (Bozen), From Siusi allo Sciliar (Seis am Schlern) and Ortisei (St. Ulrich) in Val Gardena (Grödnertal), large gondola lifts travel up to the Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm). The gondola lifts are around 20 kilometres from the Brennerautobahn motorway. In Siusi allo Sciliar (Seis am Schlern), parking is free of charge. There is also a payable multi-storey car park. There are only payable parking spaces at the base station in Ortisei (St. Ulrich). The Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) plateau can also be accessed by road. However, the road is closed to private transport between 9 am and 5 pm. Hotel guests on the Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm) are given a special driving permit.

  • Ski buses to the Seiser Alm lift in Siusi (Seis) run mainly from Fiè allo Sciliar (Völs am Schlern), Siusi allo Sciliar (Seis am Schlern) and Castelrotto (Kastelruth). On the Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm), the Almbus runs between Compaccio (Compatsch) and Saltria. From Saltria, a payable bus runs to Monte Pana and the entry point to the Sella Ronda. There are also ski buses in Val Gardena (Grödnertal).
