The ski resort of Alpe Lusia is family- and child-friendly. The Laricino Park in Castelir (Bellamonte) is ideal for families and children learning to ski. On the Bellamonte side, most of the slopes are very wide and easy, making them very suitable for the whole family. Children love the little Fraine children’s slope and the Sentiero nel Bosco forest slope. There is also a 2 km toboggan run from Fassane to Castelir. Childcare is available in Castelir (Bellamonte) and Valbona (Moena).

Laricino Park Bellamonte
The Laricino Park Bellamonte is located at the Castelir base station. Two moving carpets transport children to the top. Fun characters and slalom courses help them learn to ski.
Bellamonte kindergarten
The “Gnomes’ Den” kindergarten is situated directly at the Castelir base station and offers a wide range of entertaining activities for children. Children are looked after very well while their parents are out on the slopes. In fine weather, there is a playground directly at the kindergarten.
Lusialand in Valbona
The Lusialand playground at the Valbona middle station is open every day. Children can have lots of fun playing here. There is also a mini-club offering childcare and babysitting services. Children are fully supervised here. Lunch is also served. There is a moving carpet right beside this for first attempts on skis.
