Slopes/runs Alta
Alta is a very special place for skiers. This traditional ski resort has been operating since 1938. The focus is on skiing, snowboarding is not permitted. The terrain is very varied and the snow quality is often excellent.
There are lots of prepared slopes and areas for beginners, but Alta is characterised in particular by endless ungroomed slopes for very good skiers. Powder slopes, steep gladed runs, tree skiing, bowls and cliffs promise lots of thrills inside the monitored ski area boundaries. When fresh snow has fallen, the powder skiing is amazing here.
The ski resort is located on the western edge of the Rocky Mountains in the Wasatch Mountains and offers beautiful panoramic views.
