The Altastenberg ski resort is considered the most challenging ski resort in Sauerland due to the FIS slalom slope. An additional black slope as well as 6 red slopes complete the offering for advanced skiers. Unfortunately, all of the slopes are groomed immediately after new snow has fallen (across the whole slope width).
