The ski resort of Andermatt/Sedrun is located in the cantons of Uri and Graubünden/Grisons. In winter, there is no link between Andermatt (Uri) and Sedrun (Graubünden/Grisons) via the Oberalp Pass (closed in winter). Access to the ski resort is therefore from either Uri or Graubünden/Grisons. Andermatt is located almost directly at the Göschenen exit of the A2 motorway. The car parks in Andermatt (payable) are just a few minutes’ drive. For Sedrun, from the Reichenau/Disentis exit of the A13 motorway, you drive for 60 kilometres or so on a well-constructed road through the valley to the base station in Dieni (Sedrun). The Oberalp Pass, Furka Pass and Gotthard Pass are closed in winter. Travelling from the Sedrun/Disentis/Mustér/Flims direction, the road to Andermatt is closed. From Wallis/Valais, the road is also closed. A regular train loading service runs through the Furka Tunnel. From Italy, you drive through the Gotthard Tunnel.
