On the roof of the Arber mountain station, the highest solar power plant in Eastern Bavarian produces 5000 kilowatt hours of electricity each year for the Arber Bergbahn lift company. The rest of the required electricity is produced using environmentally friendly hydro power. There are also power points available for electric cars in the parking lot.
