Gastronomy tip
AlpArosa
On slope number 10a in Arosa at 2,030 metres
New life was breathed into the AlpArosa in the 2020/21 season. In a former stable building, diners can now enjoy excellent cuisine and outstanding wines. Great emphasis is placed on regional produce here. Together with the Arosa Confiserie, it also makes delicious nut croissants. After your meal, you can relax with an Appenzeller Edelbrand liqueur.
Stüva Cuolm
In Inner-Arosa at the base station of the Kulm lift
The Stüva Cuolm serves high-quality Italian cuisine in an authentic atmosphere. The highlight is the wood-fired pizzas on the sun terrace.
Bergrestaurant Scharmoin
At the mountain station of the Rothorn 1 lift at 1,905 metres
As well as a self-service area, the Bergrestaurant Scharmoin has a table-service grill restaurant on the upper floor serving excellent food and wines. Advance reservation is recommended.
Bergrestaurant Piz Scalottas
At the mountain station of the Scalottas chairlift in Lenzerheide West
The Bergrestaurant Piz Scalottas serves good home cooking with freshly prepared seasonal and regional ingredients. The panoramic view from the sun terrace adds the finishing touch to an enjoyable lunch break.
Weisshorngipfel
At the mountain station of the Weisshorn lift (section 2) in Arosa at 2,653 metres
Winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to a grand combination of futuristic architecture and breath-taking panoramic views at the Weisshorngipfel. The wine list and a wide selection of cakes from the ‘Gipfelbäckerei’ are highlights here. On selected days, there is the option of breakfast or dinner including the ride up from Arosa.
Bergrestaurant Alp Lavoz
At the base station of the Lavoz chairlift in Lenzerheide West at 1,920 metres
The Alp Lavoz has a self-service restaurant and a table-service area with a large sun terrace. It serves traditional Grisons specialities as well as other dishes. It also offers a selection of wines.

Sattelhütte
Below the Brüggerhorn in Arosa at 2,401 metres
This typical Swiss mountain hut serves home-made dishes and offers a beautiful view from its large sun terrace. On cold days, you can warm up in the rustic Black Diamond Stübli lounge.
Motta Hütte
At the mountain station of the Motta lift in Lenzerheide-East at 2,285 metres
The Mottahütte serves exclusive dishes in an international ambiance. A special selection of wines and champagnes is also available at the bar.
Tschuggenhütte
On the Tschuggen near the Kulm mountain station at 2,000 metres
There is always something happening at the Tschuggenhütte and you won't be able to resist relaxing for a while on the sun terrace.
Hörnli-Hütte
On the Hörnli at 2,311 metres in Arosa
The Hörnli-Hütte in Arosa serves regional specialities without flavour enhancers. Pleasure seekers can opt for the cosy atmosphere of the Schanfigger Stube lounge or the sun terrace with views of the mountain landscapes around the Urden lift. Reserve by phone in advance to ensure a good spot.
Carmennahütte
Between the Plattenhorn and the Carmenna lifts on slopes 6/7/8 at 2,134 metres.
The Carmennahütte has a great atmosphere and the Munggaloch is a good place to start après-ski. In fine weather, you can relax on lounge chairs on the terrace.
