Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Auron (Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée)
The Auron ski resort offers plenty of open terrain, including some long runs down to the valley. The area beneath the 6-person Dôme chairlift is especially recommendable. There are also a few runs through the forest, such as those beneath the Las Donnas aerial tramway lift. The slopes marked as difficult are not groomed daily.
