Axamer Lizum is a medium-sized ski resort in Austria. It is one of the largest ski resorts in the Innsbruck region. The altitude difference of almost 800 metres down to the valley can be skied on several long runs. The ski resort includes three peaks: Hoadl (2,340 metres), Pleisen (2,235 metres) and Birgitzköpfl (2,035 metres). In addition to the funicular, a 10-person gondola lift went into operation on the Hoadl in the 2022/23 season. As well as marked slopes and ski routes, Axamer Lizum is also a very popular freeride area.
