Access by car is generally from the A10 Tauernautobahn motorway, exit Bischofshofen/Knoten Pongau. The entry points are in Bad Hofgastein (Schlossalmbahn lift), Bad Gastein (Stubnerkogelbahn lift) and at the Angertal Ski Centre (Kaserebenbahn/Angertalbahn/Senderbahn lifts). Skiers can park free of charge at the cable car stations. There are also free indoor car parks in the Angertal Ski Centre and at the base station of the Schlossalmbahn lift in Bad Hofgastein.
