Weitmoser Schlossalm
At the Weitmoser 6-person chairlift
The Weitmoser Schlossalm is a cosy mountain hut with a table service area and self-service section, as well as a large sun terrace and barbecue. This “Gasteiner Skihauben” (Gastein Ski Toque) hut serves gourmet cuisine. The hut is also a “Wein- und Skigenuss in Ski amadé” (Ski and Wine Enjoyment) member.
Angerblick Hütte
Right next to slopes H31 and H32 at the Angertal Ski Centre
This rustic restaurant with a large sun terrace is an attractive option for a break. One special tip at the Angerblick Hütte is the alpine kebab of marinated neck of pork.
Waldgasthof Angertal
Directly at the B20 slope in the Angertal valley
The Waldgasthof is renowned for its top-class cuisine and cosy atmosphere. This “Gasteiner Skihauben” (Gastein Ski Toque) hut serves gourmet cuisine.
JungerStube
At the base station of the Jungeralmbahn lift
The JungerStube is a cosy mountain hut with a large sun terrace and an umbrella bar. This “Gasteiner Skihauben” (Gastein Ski Toque) hut serves gourmet cuisine. It places great emphasis on local products and culinary pleasures.

Hirschenhütt'n
At the end of slope B20 in the Angertal valley
The Hirschenhütt'n is one of the most rustic ski huts in the Gastein Valley and treats diners to regional specialities. The hut evenings with spare ribs, Kasnocken (cheesy pasta) and fried chicken dishes are a particular highlight. Phone in advance to make a reservation for these evenings.
Bärsteinalm
Right beside the H9 Familienabfahrt slope below the Schlossalm middle station
The Bärsteinalm is a rustic meeting place serving traditional Austrian dishes. It is an exceptionally beautiful mountain hut.
Herzwies Felding Stubn
Right next to slope H31 at the Angertal Ski Centre
This rustic ski hut serves delicious food and good wines. From the large sun terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view down to the Angertal valley.
Bellevue Alm
At the B14 valley run to Bad Gastein
The Bellevue Alm is one of the oldest ski huts in Europe and its first mention can be traced back to 1421. It is a very rustic and unique place.
