The plateau at Lake Resia (Reschen) and Lake della Muta (Heidersee) is renowned for its snow-reliable cross-country trails. Around 50 kilometres of cross-country trails lead through light woodlands or over sunny fields. The “three countries cross-country trail” (Dreiländerloipe) goes all the way to Nauders in Austria. On Lake Resia (Reschen), as alternatives to cross-country skiing, you can also go ice skating, speed skating, snow-kiting, and ice sailing.
