Use of the public ski buses between Nauders, Resia (Reschen) and Malga San Valentino (Haideralm) is encouraged. Skiing in forests is prohibited and these areas are fenced off. The restaurants use local produce and the ski resort usually opens in the middle of December once there is sufficient snow (although it would be possible to open far earlier).
