Access, Parking Belvedere/Col Rodella/Ciampac/Buffaure – Canazei/Campitello/Alba/Pozza di Fassa
The Val di Fassa is nestled in the Dolomites. The recommended route from the north is via the Brenner Autobahn, Bozen Nord (Bolzano North) exit. From the exit, you drive over the Passo Lavazé to Cavalese. From there, a well-built road leads into the Val di Fassa. When snow is falling, you should take the Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin exit in order to avoid crossing the Passo Lavazé. Comfortable access from the south is via the Brenner Autobahn, Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin exit and then a well-built road to Cavalese and into the Val di Fassa. You can also access the ski resort from the Klausen-Gröden (Klausen-Gardena) exit on the Brenner Autobahn. This will lead via the Grödnertal (Val Gardena) and Passo Stella (2224 m) into the Val di Fassa and to the individual base stations of the ski resort. Those coming from Venice or Udine should take the A27 to Belluno and then travel over a few passes. Unfortunately, parking fees are charged at almost all parking lots.
