Slope offering, variety of runs at the ski resort Borovets
The slopes in the ski resort of Borovets are varied and pass through very diverse landscapes. In the Sitnyakovo area, the slopes are situated above the village of Borovets (Borowez) and lead through forest glades. From very easy to difficult, there is something for everyone. There are also beginners’ areas, a children's area and night skiing here. The area of Yastrebets impresses with long intermediate slopes for carving. Markudjik is the highest area (2,144 - 2,550 metres) and is located above the treeline. The slopes here cover all difficulty levels. There are beautiful views of the Rila Mountains including the Musala (2,925 metres), the highest mountain in Bulgaria. The links between the Sitnyakovo and Yastrebets areas are on ski paths where you need to push with your poles for a bit.
