Continuous investment in the ski resort make Brauneck a modern winter sports area that has kept up with the times. The first major step in the modernisation of the lift facilities was the introduction of the Milchhäuslexpress 6-person chairlift, followed by the Schrödelsteinbahn lift in the winter of 2019/20. As well as improving the comfort of its lifts, the resort has also invested in expanding its snow-making capabilities to ensure snow reliability on the Weltcupabfahrt (World Cup slope) and Familienabfahrt (family slope), as well as on the Waxensteinabfahrt run down to the valley.
