Access, Parking Cardrona
The ski resort of Cardrona is located on New Zealand’s South Island. It is situated between Queenstown and Wanaka. In the small village of Cardrona, the steep and untarmacked mountain road leads up to the ski resort. After 8 kilometres or so, you arrive at the few car parks at the Valley View Quad. The Cardrona Base Area with ample parking is around 14 kilometres from the valley. Different car parks are available right next to the slopes or a short walk from the Base Area. If you park further down, free shuttle buses then take you to the base station. Families tend to use the drop-off zones at the Base Area. Carrying snowchains in the car is strongly recommended.
