Runs/ski slopes Catinaccio/Ciampedie – Vigo di Fassa/Pera di Fassa
The majority of slopes in the ski resort of Catinaccio are easy and intermediate. The black “Alberto Tomba” run adds the finishing touch. The slope was named in honour of the former ski pro Alberto Tomba (multiple Olympic champion and world champion) and he also trained here regularly. The runs are situated on the south-east side of the Rosengarten (Italian: Catinaccio). This guarantees amazing views of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. As well as the Rosengarten and the Vajolet Towers, there are also beautiful views of the Langkofel (Sassolungo), the Sella mountain range, Sass Pordoi, Marmolata, Costabella, Buffaure and Monzoni mountains.
