The Italian ski resort of Catinaccio is located in Val di Fassa (Fassa Valley) in Trentino. Access is via mountain passes from the Brennerautobahn motorway. The exits are Bozen (Bolzano) Nord (from the north) or Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin (from the south). The entry points are in Vigo di Fassa and Pera di Fassa. There are free car parks in Pera di Fassa around the base station. In Vigo di Fassa, direct car parks are limited. An escalator takes you conveniently from the centre of the village to the cable car base station here.
