Route planner
Access & on-site parking
The ski resort itself is located in the Snowy Mountains within Kosciuszko National Park. Therefore, you have to pay an expensive entrance fee per day and per car when driving from Jindabyne up to Perisher Village. The route takes you up a steep mountain road, where you will find ample parking, and then you need to take the snowcat to Charlotte Pass. Overnight parking is not allowed in Perisher Village. Additionally, carrying snow chains is mandatory (except for 4WD/all-wheel drive vehicles). Snow chains can be rented in Jindabyne. Winter Closure
Access to the Charlotte Pass ski area is closed in winter. You must take the paid snowcat from Perisher Valley to Charlotte Pass. Since there is an overnight parking ban in Perisher Valley, you park at Bullocks Flat at the Skitube and take it to Perisher Valley.
