Access, Parking Christlum – Achenkirch
The ski resort of Christlum is located at Achenkirch, at the north end of the Achensee, the largest lake in Tyrol. It is just 75 minutes from Munich and 50 from Innsbruck. From Munich, access is generally via the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway, Holzkirchen exit. Travelling through the Tegernsee valley (Tegernsee-Achen Pass) or via Bad Tölz (Lenggries-Sylvenstein Dam) avoids the need for an Austrian ‘vignette’ (toll sticker). From the Inntalautobahn motorway in Austria, the ski resort is just a short drive from the Wiesing/Achensee/Zillertal exit. Sufficient free parking is available at the base station.
