Access & on-site parking

The Italian ski resort of Cima Piazzi/San Colombano is located in the north east of Lombardy slightly west of Bormio. It is linked on two sides and there are therefore entry points in Isolaccia (Valdidentro) and in Le Motte/Oga (Valdisotto). Free car parks are available.

From the north, the only access to the ski resort is via Switzerland. The route takes you through the Munt la Schera road tunnel (toll charge) and Livigno. The road tunnel is single-lane and traffic passes through alternately in each direction. Special rules apply on Saturdays in winter and the direction remains unchanged for several hours. Check in advance!

From the south, access is via Tirano and Bormio. Many mountain passes are closed in winter, so there are only these two access routes.

Winter Closure

The Stelvio Pass and the Gavia Pass are closed in winter. Given the location, it is advisable to check the road conditions before you travel as some passes in the area may also be closed temporarily.
