Crans and Montana are both located on a high plateau at 1,500 metres above the Rhone Valley. Crans-Montana is one of the larger Valais ski resorts and offers a combination of mountain village and city style with a wide selection of facilities. The small city in the mountains offers a wide range of accommodation, from guest rooms to luxury chalets, inns and a 5-star hotel. Only a few accommodation options have direct access to the slopes. However, many are close to the base stations and can be accessed by ski bus or on foot. A few mountain huts up in the ski resort also offer accommodation.
