The evaluation is done as follows
Beginners Crans-Montana
Crans-Montana has a larger beginners’ area with moving carpets in Arnouva (1,791 metres). On the Cry d'Er (2,256 metres), beginners can find some easy slopes and tow lifts. Gondola lifts provide access from Crans and Montana. Many connecting slopes and the valley runs are intermediate level, however, so beginners cannot ski throughout the entire ski resort. In Crans, the Snow Island offers wide and easy practice slopes. Although it is not situated directly at the ski resort, a separate beginners’ ski pass can be purchased here to practise first turns.
