Cross-country trails at the ski resort Crans-Montana

  • No cross-country trails available

Crans-Montana-Aminona has something to offer for cross-country skiers. Some of the trails lead idyllically along the old irrigation chanels. World-class skiers themselves train on the high altitude trail on the Plaine Morte Glacier at 2800m. There are also cross-country trails on the golf course.

Trail tip(s)
  • Plaine Morte Glacier (Glacier de la Plaine Morte)

The Plaine Morte Glacier ranges from 2700m to 2800m and due to the wide glacier levels (there are almost no gaps in the flat area), it is perfectly suited for cross-country skiing. The beautiful mountain panorama including the glacier is impressive. The ascent is from Barzette-Violettes with the Violettes Express gondola lift and the Plain Morte funitel. The cross-country area is located about 100 altitude metres above the mountain station of the funitel, near the Glacier t-bar.
