The ski resort is a paradise for experts and sporty pleasure skiers. There are no easy slopes here. The only exception is a short practice slope. The two ski mountains, the Diavolezza (“she-devil’) and Lagalb (“white lake”), have long slopes and lots of off-piste powder runs. If you enjoy intermediate and difficult runs covering over 800 vertical metres or would like to experience a 10 kilometre run over the Morteratsch Glacier, then this is the perfect resort for you. The glacier run is the longest of its kind in Switzerland and an absolute highlight. Against the spectacular backdrop of Piz Bernina (4,049 m) and Piz Palü (3,900 m), it takes you over a distance of 10 kilometres through a wilderness of snow and ice. Another special experience is skiing in the full moon on the Diavolezza. The ski mountains of Lagalb and Diavolezza are connected by slopes only in the Lagalb direction. A ski bus provides a link in the opposite direction.
