The Wetterstein lifts (Wettersteinbahnen Ehrwald) ski resort is very suitable for beginners on the Sonnenhang. There are two ideal practice lifts in the base area. A people mover and a tow lift provide access to very easy slopes. The 6-person Sonnenhang Sunracer chairlift with child safety restraints also goes up from here. Two easy slopes lead back to the base station of the chairlift. The Wettersteinbahn lift can also be accessed entirely on easy slopes. Only the slopes at the Gamskar are not absolutely suitable for beginners (curves and breaking required).
