Skiing through the forest is prohibited at the Wetterstein lifts (Wettersteinbahnen Ehrwald) ski resort. The reforestation areas are marked and protected by fences. Both of the base stations are connected to the regional ski bus network.

    The Ehrwald station on the Außfern line connects Ehrwald to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Reutte. The train station is about 2 km away from the ski resort. There is a bus connection.

  • Guests holding a guest card or a valid ski pass can ride the bus throughout the entire Tiroler Zugspitz Arena for free. The ski buses stop right at the Sonnenhang lift and the Wetterstein lift.
