The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing/powder snow skiing Espace Diamant – Les Saisies/Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe/Praz sur Arly/Flumet/Crest-Voland
Despite the focus on families, Espace Diamant also has it rough side and not all slopes are groomed to a flat finish. There are also mogul slopes to be found here including the Ban Rouge in Praz sur Arly, Sapinière in Les Saisies and Gueux Noire in Notre Dame de Bellecombe. Black slopes are found throughout the ski resort, even on the back side of the otherwise gentle Mont Bisanne. Freeriders will be drawn towards the slopes on the ridge between La Légette and Ban Rouge, which are pretty steep, above the treeline and thanks to the main clientele, not so quickly cut up as in other freeride destinations. Especially because of the sheer size of the ski resort, there are also many spots off the marked slopes lower down in the resort. A highlight is the ungroomed Les Prés slope on the southern side of Mont Vores.
- some freeride/deep snow areas
- few mogul slopes
