The employees usually help guests boarding the non-detachable chairlifts. The atmosphere in the restaurants (almost no self-service restaurants) is usually very friendly. The ski instructors normally see their occupation not as a job, but as a way of life. The ski villages are mainly mature villages and not stop over stations. Many of the locals take on seasonal jobs, which is positive for the atmosphere.
