Gastronomy/Eating at the ski resort Espace Diamant – Les Saisies/Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe/Praz sur Arly/Flumet/Crest-Voland

The lion's share of the restaurants are found at the base stations and there is a large selection in Les Saisies, Cohennoz and Notre Dame de Bellecombe. Up on the mountain, there are almost exclusively smaller, family-run restaurants with wait staff that serve good quality, local specialties and feature large sun terraces. The price level is moderate.

Gastronomy tip

Le Benetton

Cos ski lift base station, Les Saisies

They serve large portions in the most beautiful location above Les Saisies (sharing a meal is a good idea). The menu includes salads, pasta, meat dishes as well as regional classics such as Tartiflette, Fromage Blanc or Tarte aux Myrtilles. Nice sun terrace and wait staff.

Mountain hut tip

Le Serasson

Serasson slope between the mountain station of the Crêt du Midi chair lift and the La Pierre tow lift in Praz sur Arly

Besides an excellent three course menu with two selections and a reasonably priced Plat du Jour (daily special), they serve original hut specialties such as cheese fondue (Fondue Savoyarde) as well as soups, salads, cheeses and a small selection of meat dishes. From the terrace, you can enjoy the view of the Mont Blanc.

Les Crêtes

Summit of the Mont Rond

One of the few self-service restaurants in the ski resort. They serve simple snacks such as chips, pizza, sandwiches, quiche or hot dogs as well as classic dishes with regional sausages (Assiette Charcuterie). Small, but fine selection of cakes and a good wine selection for a self-service restaurant. Limited seating indoors, but a very nice view from the terrace.
