Access, Parking Fanningberg
The Fanningberg ski resort is located in the heart of the Lungau in Land Salzburg. It is easily accessible via the A10 Tauern Autobahn, St. Michael exit (Sankt Michael in Lungau). When coming from the north, you must pass through the Tauern Tunnel (toll road) before the exit. When coming from the south, you must pass through the Katschberg Tunnel (also a toll road). It takes about 25 minutes to drive from the exit to the ski resort. A mountain road leads from Mariapfarr/Seitling up to about 1500 m. The ski resort parking lot (free of charge) is located slightly below the base station. You can avoid the Tauern Tunnel when coming from the north by taking the Altenmarkt exit. However, this road leads over the Radstädter Tauern Pass (1738 m) and passes through Obertauern.
