The evaluation is done as follows
Access, Parking Fellhorn/Kanzelwand – Oberstdorf/Riezlern
The cross-border ski resort has two entry points: the Fellhornbahn lift in Germany is 7 kilometres south of Oberstdorf in the Allgäu and the Kanzelwandbahn lift in Austria is situated in Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal valley. In Riezlern, parking is limited and charges apply. The best solution for day visitors is to park at the payable car parks at the Fellhornbahn lift. The expansion of the Kempten-Sonthofen road into a four-lane expressway means the ski resort is now just a short drive from the A7 Ulm-Füssen motorway. Access from the south is not possible as there is no through road in the Kleinwalsertal valley.
