Environmental protection of the ski resort Fellhorn/Kanzelwand – Oberstdorf/Riezlern

The MyMountainNature initiative reflects the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal Bergbahnen lift company’s great concern for the issue of sustainability. The entire ski resort of Fellhorn/Kanzelwand uses 100% environmentally friendly hydraulic power. The photovoltaic system on the Fellhorn produces large volumes of power. The lifts use biofuel based on plant waste and hydrogen and this significantly reduces CO2 emissions. Purchases are made from regional suppliers.

Travel to Oberstdorf without a car is strongly promoted. Local ski buses offer environmentally friendly transport to the ski resort.
