Access, Parking First – Grindelwald

Grindelwald is located in the Jungfrau region in the Bernese Oberland near Interlaken. From the Wilderswil/Interlaken exit of the A8 motorway, a well-constructed road leads up to Grindelwald. It takes around 20 minutes to drive to Grindelwald. You need to drive through almost the entire village to reach the limited parking areas at the Firstbahn lift. There is only limited parking at the base station and a charge applies. At weekends and on peak days, the Firstbahn lift operates a P&R car park outside Grindelwald. You can park your car here and take the train to Grindelwald. From the train station, a bus then takes you to the base station.
