Access, Parking Flumserberg
Flumserberg is located between Zurich and Chur in the holiday region of Heidiland in the canton of St. Gallen. The Swiss ski resort is very easy to access. From Zurich, it is around a 45-minute drive to the ski resort via the A3, and from the German border near Lindau, it is around an hour via the Rheintalautobahn motorway and the A3. The entry points are in Unterterzen at the Walensee lake or directly up at Flumserberg. The entry point in Unterterzen at the Walensee lake is just 5 kilometres or so from the Murg and Walendstadt motorway exits. The SeeJet gondola lift takes you comfortably to Tannenboden in 20 minutes and it is then just a few steps (200 metres) to the ski area. There is no valley run to Unterterzen and you need to take the gondola lift back down to the valley. The train station in Unterterzen is right next to the base station which means you can also travel to the resort by train. The base stations at Flumserberg in Tannenheim and Tannenboden can be accessed quickly via a mountain road from Flums. Charges apply for all car parks.
