The Märchenwiese beginners’ area at the base offers lots of space for families. The very flat, wide slope is located across the road from the Schachen lifts. A tow rope and children's areas run by the ski schools are ideal. Additional easy slopes can be accessed from the Schachen 2-person tow lift. There are no easy slopes in the upper part of the ski resort.

Märchenwiese
The Märchenwiese is a wide, flat practice slope with a tow rope. This ideal practice area for first steps in the snow is located in the base area at the village of Grän opposite the Schachen lifts. The ski school also has its children's area with moving carpets here.

The Club Alpin ski school runs children's areas with moving carpets on the Märchenwiese. The area is ideal for beginners.
