Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Furano
The ski resort of Furano has some difficult slopes and mogul runs. One highlight is the powder snow slopes through sparse forests. You can leave the slopes through various gates. However, the free ski area in sparse woodland is not monitored. The area is simply protected from avalanches and the gates are opened only in good conditions. Anyone who goes beyond the gates when they are closed must, without exception, give up their ski pass. The “Japow” (Japan powder) experience in the sparse woodland is very special.
- many freeride/deep snow areas
- many mogul slopes
