The entire ski resort of Furano is linked by chairlifts, a gondola lift and a cable car. In the Furano Zone, a high-speed 4-person chairlift with weather-protection covers or a cable car take you up to the ski area. In the Kitanomine Zone, a 6-person gondola lift transports you straight up to the summit. A high-speed 4-person chairlift also runs from there. Up in the ski area and at the base station close to the New Furano Prince Hotel, there are 2-person chairlifts. In Japan, these have the endearing nickname of “romance lifts”. At both base stations, there are moving carpets for beginners and children.
