Geilo is one of the larger ski resorts in Norway. It extends to both sides of the village of Geilo. The two sides are linked by a ski bus. The slopes in the Vestlia area extend from Kikut over Kikuttoppen (1,076 metres) and Bjødnahovda (1,056 metres) to Vestlia. The slopes in the Geilosiden area lead from Halstensgård over Gullsteinhovda (1,109 metres), Geilohovda (1,080 metres), Slaatta, Havsdalen to the highest point in the ski resort at Havsdalshovda (1,178 metres).
