Lifts/cable cars Gerlitzen
All of the lifts come together on the summit of the Gerlitzen (1,911 metres). From Klösterle, two long detachable 4-person chairlifts take you up to the summit. From Annenheim at the Ossiacher See lake, a 4-person gondola lift travels up to the Kanzelhöhe. A detachable 4-person chairlift with weather-protection covers then takes you up to the summit. The detachable Neugarten 8er Carving Jet 8-person chairlift provides access to wide carving slopes on the summit. The Wörthersee 6er Family-Jet chairlift also travels up to the summit from the Bergeralm. It has weather-protection covers and heated seats. The Wörthersee Freeride-Jet 4-person chairlift takes you comfortably from the freeride slopes back to the 6-person chairlift. There are also two more 2-person chairlifts on the Kanzelhöhe which are used mainly by beginners. Additional tow lifts, button lifts and moving carpets complete the lift facilities.
History: Bergbahnen Gerlitzen Alpe has the longest heritage among Carinthia’s lift operators. The first Kanzelbahn lift opened in 1928.
