One of the most difficult slopes in Italy leads below the Jochtal gondola to the valley With a gradient of 38 degrees, the Mitterling run is extremely steep. The Jöchl, Steinermandl, Training slope and Sergerwiese runs, each with a gradient of 24 degrees, are also considerable challenges. Skiing off-piste is not permitted in South Tyrol, so freeriding possibilities in Jochtal are limited to between the slopes.
