The ski resort of Götschen caters very well for beginners. Beginners can practise on the easy slope at the Kleiner Götschenlift (tow lift). The long and easy Familienabfahrt slope at the Götschenkopfbahn (3-person chairlift) is also highly recommended. This can be accessed from the Großer Götschenlift (tow lift) as well. The Kollerlift (practice lift) is slightly separate from the main ski area and takes you up to a beginners' area. The Katy Hölzl ski school offers a wide selection of lessons here and in the main ski area. A chance to learn with the slalom world champion.
