The ski resort of Götschen is ideal for families. The 3-person chairlift leads to the easy Familienabfahrt slope, the Kleiner Götschenlift takes you to an easy practice slope. Children can develop their skills on the FIS-Abfahrt slope. The prices are family-friendly. The Katy Hölzl ski school offers lessons for children in a large practice area. There is a ski hire service in the resort.

Slightly apart from the main ski resort, there is a large beginners' area at the Kollerlift (practice lift). Children are taught professionally and with great care here. The ski school is run by the giant slalom world champion Katy Hölzl.
