Experts appreciate the very difficult black slope, the long runs down to the valley, the ski routes and the unsecured freeride terrain. With a gradient of 70%, the black Diaboloabfahrt is one of the steepest slopes in Austria. The longest slope is a challenge even for experts. Slopes lead continuously down from the mountain station of the Rätikonbahn lift to the base station of the Golmerbahn lift in Vandans. The impressive length and an altitude difference of almost 1,500 vertical metres call for good physical fitness. Attractive ski routes lead through the Gauertal Valley and into the valley at Vandans and Tschagguns. Freeriders can find large, unsecured ski areas throughout the entire upper section of the ski resort.
