Access, Parking Grand Tourmalet/​Pic du Midi – La Mongie/​Barèges

The ski resort is located south of Lourdes or Tarbes in the French Pyrenees. It is accessed either in La Mongie (1800 m) or Barèges (entrance near Tournaboup 1450 m). A steep mountain road leads to La Mongie. IMPORTANT: the Col du Tourmalet pass road between La Mongie 1.800 m and Tournaboup 1.450 m/Barèges is closed in the winter. A ski slope leads along this pass in the winter and crosses it at the highest point. The French A64 La Pyrénéenne is about 40 km away from the resort.
