The ski resort of Grasgehren is located at the well-constructed Riedbergpass (1,420 metres) in the Oberallgäu (Upper Allgäu) district. From the German side, access to Grasgehren is from Obermaiselstein or via Oberstaufen and through the Bregenz Forest. From Austria, you can travel through the Bregenz Forest and Hittisau. Snow chains are essential in snowy weather. Sufficient payable parking is available directly at the base station.
